Purpose of message:
This message will permit us to understand that God sees and values our tears. He feels our pain… He understands, and is compassionate of our circumstances.

We will understand God´s will as it relates to our pain and tears, and we will find God´s strength and comfort to be able to dry our tears and continue along on our journey through life.

Finally, we will pray for those who are unable to stop crying… knowing that God not only sees our tears, but he will bring peace to our hearts.
Introduction:

Opening prayer:  Is. 49, 14 – 16 But Zion said, ¨The Lord has forsaken me; my Lord has forgotten me. ¨Can a mother forget her infant, be without tenderness for the child of her womb? Even should she forget, I will never forget you. See, upon the palms of my hands I have written your name, your walls are ever before me. Your rebuilders make haste, as those who tore you down and laid you waste go forth from you.

When the Lord saw her, he was moved with pity for her and said to her, ¨Do not weep. ¨He stepped forward and touched the coffin; at this the bearers halted, and he said, ¨Young man I tell you, arise! ¨The dead man sat up and began to speak and Jesus gave him to his mother…

  • Mary -- Lazarus and Martha´s sister:  Jn. 11, 32 – 36    When Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said to him, ¨Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.¨ When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who had come with her weeping, he became perturbed and deeply troubled, and said, ¨Where have you laid him?¨They said to him, ¨Sir, come and see.¨ And Jesus wept….
